How we started

CatNap Cat Boarding was initially formed as a foster care space for cats and kittens who were awaiting a home. A small amount of boarding was a great way to offset the expenses, and also an excellent way of promoting responsible cat adoption and ownership.


CatNap quickly became way too popular for the space, so an extension was built, and now enjoys a constant flow of felines. Foster care is now done in the house!

Treated with love and care

Whilst in the care of CatNap Cat Boarding, you can be assured that your cat will be treated like one of my own. Your cat/s will have access to an outdoor enclosure during their daily exercise period, and of course, if your cat is the social type, outdoor time with other cats is available.


Other features that will help your cat settle in nicely, are "Feliway" infusers in both rooms, resident cat Sylvie, and love and care by Brendan and myself.

Although we live on the premises, new external security cameras operate 24/7

Our Facilities

Variety of Enclosures

  • Single enclosures are 900 high, x 900 deep x 1800 high and have a couple of options for sleeping areas. 
  • Double are 900 deep, 1200 wide and 1800 high.  
  • Outdoor enclosures for daily excercise.

Range of Bedding Options

  • A variety of different bedding options and cocoons are available to cater for cats that are shy or timid, or are visiting for the first time.  
  • Visitors are welcome to bring any items that you think will make your cat's stay more enjoyable.  

All Requirements Catered For

  • Medication can be administered (at no extra charge)
  • We have a special place in the Cattery for elderly or injured cats
  • "Feliway" infusers in both rooms to help your cat settle
  • Where possible, we will feed your cat the food he/she is used to.

Pricing

  • Single cat: $19 per night


  • 2 cats sharing a double enclosure: $30 per night


  • Extended stays: (over 6 weeks): We get many cats that come for an extended period for all sorts of reasons. Please get in touch and discuss your requirements, as we will always negotiate a lower rate for long stays.
